Meet Mindi Moran, LMT
Founder & Owner of Coastal Bodywork Co.
Mindi Moran is a Licensed Massage Therapist and the founder and owner of Coastal Bodywork Co., dedicated to helping clients feel their best through therapeutic massage and holistic healing practices.
Mindi received her professional massage therapy training from the Downeast School of Massage in Waldoboro, Maine, graduating in 2008. Her training and experience include Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release (MFR), and Neuromuscular Therapy techniques. She is also trained and certified in Cupping, Basalt River Stone Massage, Himalayan Salt Stone Massage, and Gua Sha. In addition to her massage therapy work, Mindi is a certified Reiki II Practitioner.
With a passion for sports and an active lifestyle, Mindi's own experiences with injuries inspired her to pursue a career in massage therapy. She has worked and trained with the Maine Sports Massage Team, providing pre- and post-event massage therapy at sporting events throughout Maine. In 2008, she had the incredible opportunity to provide post-event massage to athletes participating in the Boston Marathon.
Mindi believes in the power of massage therapy to support recovery, reduce stress, improve mobility, and enhance overall well-being. Her passion for the healing arts, combined with her personal experience and commitment to living a healthy and active lifestyle, drives her to help clients better understand their bodies and experience the many benefits of therapeutic bodywork.
Outside of her work, Mindi is an avid shark conservationist and volunteers each summer with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She enjoys adventure, staying active, spending time in nature, and traveling.
